As the vice-chairperson, I was tasked to help and plan out events such as Teachers' Day as well as service-learning projects. I also gathered the birthdays of my classmates and plan a birthday celebration at the end of each month.

 

As the aesthetic class leader, I was more focused on decorating the class during events such as Chinese New Year. I also helped the class committee in organising the service-learning projects.

Co-curricular Activity (CCA) | Choir ​

As the secretary, I was tasked to maintain the overall discipline and attendance of the Choir. On top of that, I also helped in planning and executing any events such as CCA Carnival and a Welcome Party for new members.

 

As the sectional leader, I was required to teach the section a new song in the right pitch and rhythm. I also recapped any old songs with the section and help to sharpen the section's pitch and rhythm. 

​

In 2015 and 2017, we participated in the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) and clinched Accomplishment and Distinction respectively. Together, we worked hard to pick up the various singing techniques and musical terms from our conductor.

​

In 2016, I was chosen to represent the school in the Choral Leadership Camp organised by Ministry of Education (MOE) Arts Education Branch. It was an eye-opening experience as I get to meet other students from other schools. During this camp, we learned different singing techniques and I applied these singing techniques back to my section.

These projects were apart of my school's service-learning programme. Every year, we will be required to plan and execute a project.

For the service-learning projects in 2016 and 2017, I was a part of the planning committee. This helps me to work on my teamwork and communication skills.
